Amy is a graduate from Indiana State University, where she received her Master of Science Degree in Physical Education with a specialization in Sports Medicine, and is a graduate from Slippery Rock University in PA, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Allied Health with an emphasis in Athletic Training. She is a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Amy has 7 years experience working as a certified athletic trainer at Hurley Sports Care, an outpatient physical therapy facility, and also has 2 years experience working as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Ferris State University. Her responsibilities at Ferris State included athletic training coverage for all of the University teams, with a concentration in Ice Hockey. Prevention, care, evaluation, and rehabilitation are the underlying tools Amy likes to apply when working with people. Amy enjoys encouraging others to achieve their goals.
